Previously, only 18.6% of the population of Lemi-Robite had access to clean water – now they all benefit from the new system.

The 36 years old Menschen Fuer Menschen Foundation awarded “Best Performing Charity Organization Award” at Bahirdar, capital Amhara Regional State.
The 2017/18 GOs and NGOs Partnership Forum of Amhara Regional State has been held from 16th -17th April 2018 in the City of Wisdom, Bahirdar and including MfM around 100 charity organizations operating in the region has participated on the forum. The forum has started on Monday, April 16th 2018 with photograph exhibition displaying major activities of NGOs in Amhara region specifically and in the nation generally. MfM has also shown its activities through the exhibition demonstrating its five development pillars in pictures.
Based on field visits carried out by Amhara Region Finance and Development Cooperation team, four charity organizations have been selected for their outstanding performance and Menschen Fuer Menschen Foundation is selected as one of the four.
Accordingly, the good practises of the foundation specially with regards to agricultural productivity, sustainable land management, WASH, education, health, human development and infrastructure development have been presented on the forum and awarded “The Best Performance Award” on the closing ceremony of the 2017/18 GOs and NGOs Partnership Forum.
