1982 – The _#Erer Valley#_ was the first project launched by Menschen für Menschen. About 2,000 semi-nomads who had lost everything as a result of drought and the Ogaden conflict found a new home here. _#In 1996 the Erer Valley project was officially handed over to them.#_
